If every school has a "heart", it is undoubtedly the library. The library is not only the storage centre of books and resources, but also the intersection of daily teaching and in-depth learning. It works with teachers and students to carry out inquiry-based learning and practical activities, stimulating thinking, promoting the generation of knowledge and the construction of meaning, and providing support and vitality for our learning community. At the same time, in order to let our students feel the joy of reading and turn the ideas in books into actions, the library has planned and carried out a series of practical activities this semester, aiming to stimulate students' interest in reading, cultivate their cooperative abilities and transform reading achievements into visual and displayable works.

At the beginning of this semester, the library held a "We Read, We Create" recommended book poster drawing competition. Students selected their favourite books from the library and presented the themes and personal insights of the books through creative compositions and concise words. And the works that were selected through voting by teachers and students were displayed in the library, allowing other students to share and exchange their views. The display of reading posters further stimulated students' enthusiasm to pick up books and bravely share their own opinions.

In addition, the library also aimed to make reading into a daily ritual by launching the "21 Days Reading Challenge." Students use a small punch card during their daily lunch break to record each step of their sustained reading. Those who completed seven days of punches would receive house points and a small gift as encouragement for their persistence. As rows of punched holes gradually increased, students experienced a clear sense of achievement, learned patience and self‑discipline, and deeply felt the rewards and satisfaction that come from persistence.

Whether through poster‑making or the reading punch‑card challenge, we have seen students move from silent reading to active expression and from individual experience to collective sharing. Every borrowed book, every thoughtfully created poster, and every patient punch‑card can become a small milestone on students’ paths of growth. The library will always remain open and welcoming, continuing to be the "heart" where teachers and students explore, share, and grow.
