Our spectacular FCG campus, designed by leading international architects, Broadway Malyan, effectively combines elements of Oriental and Lingnan culture with the essence of Fettes College's educational philosophy whilst remaining fully compliant with Chinese national education requirements. The result is a campus perfectly suited for blended living and learning. The outstanding facilities are centred around a learning spine which connects small-scale boarding houses with spaces for independent study, exploration and reflection, and classrooms equipped with the latest technology to foster creativity and collaboration, all set in a green and spacious landscape that is perfect for wellbeing.

Enrichment at FCG brings essential balance through our Arts, Sports and Co-Curricular programmes which are carefully designed to complement our core academic courses. With our outstanding facilities, generous staffing ratio and our ability to draw on the experience of Fettes College and the valuable connections of Bright Scholar, we are well placed to offer an enhanced educational experience that will challenge and stretch our students and so prepare them for life beyond school.

At FCG we provide a strong creative atmosphere that extends from our youngest children in EY through to our university applicants in Grade 12.

☑ Specialist public examination courses for performing and visual arts

☑ Masters-level expat and Chinese teachers throughout FCG

☑ Top facilities for all disciplines allowing students to develop specialist skills and interests

Music is central to Chinese culture and is highly valued at FCG. Our impressive collection of traditional Chinese instruments allows students to explore the beauty of different musical forms and discover new avenues for self-expression. Alongside our core music programme, we offer private singing and instrumental tuition including piano and clarinet, and provide opportunities for students to perform throughout a series of informal lunchtime recitals which build towards our Annual Arts Festival.

Our guiding principle at FCG is Sport for All which we balance with our inherited ethos of sporting excellence from Fettes College in the UK. We aim to instil in our students a lifelong love of sport and physical activity, and whether an enthusiastic amateur or future Olympian, we support each of our students to achieve their sporting goals

Informed by our appreciation of the tremendous benefit sport can have on the physical and mental development of students, we seek to maximise the opportunities for all our students to engage with as wide a variety of sporting activities as possible during their time at FCG.

Our Chinese and expat specialist PE teachers include national level athletes and professional international certified coaches. Working as a team they deliver the core Physical Education curriculum across all years, differentiated as appropriate to support skill acquisition and encourage enjoyment. Friday is our dedicated Games afternoon

where we undertake sporting challenges and students learn the value of healthy competition and teamwork. Elite sports coaching is offered at various points throughout the week across a variety of sports and supported by external specialists. Breadth of sporting opportunities is further enhanced through the co-curicular and Active Lunchtimes

programmes which prioritise fun and maximise participation.Collectively FCG provides nearly 20 different sporting facilities including equestrian, hockey, tennis, golf, squash, swimming, basketball, football.
