MS|On Stage and in Competition: Our Students Shine in English

In this edition of our English Learning Update, we are delighted to share with you the outstanding performances and achievements of our students in two key language activities held recently. Through the "Learning Assembly Showcase" and the "English Competency Enhancement Contest," students not only demonstrated excellent language application skills but also made significant progress in teamwork, creative expression, and overall competencies.


The Learning Assembly Showcase has been successfully concluded. Students from all grade levels presented a wonderful performance that blended language learning with artistic creativity in diverse forms. The song "Count on Me," accompanied by student-made English learning videos, demonstrated their cross-media communication skills. The rendition of "Country Road" conveyed a delicate grasp of English rhythm and melody. In the dubbing segment, performances of clips from films such as Inside Out and Zootopia vividly showcased their ability to imitate pronunciation and express emotions. Additionally, the skits adapted from English classroom materials highlighted students' practical ability to transform written language into real-life communication.




Particularly noteworthy was the high-level language and literature presentation by Phase 4 students. They not only delved into the rhythm and meaning of Shakespeare’s sonnets but also recited their original English poems on stage, demonstrating profound language proficiency and humanistic reflective thinking.


Furthermore, the English Literacy Competition held this week has also concluded smoothly. In the English Penmanship Contest, students wrote with care and pursued aesthetic excellence, reflecting strong writing habits and an appreciation for beauty. The Spelling Bee competition, through multiple rounds of selection, effectively ignited students' enthusiasm for vocabulary learning and enhanced their spelling accuracy and confidence in language use.


These activities provided students with an authentic and diverse platform for language practice, consolidating what they have learned in the classroom while significantly strengthening their expressive, collaborative, and innovative abilities. We are proud of all the students who participated actively and wholeheartedly.
