This week our growth theme is "Health" and "Mid-Autumn Festival." During the "Health Theme Week", we guided children to develop a comprehensive understanding of "health" through balanced diets, exercise habits, and emotional management. At the assembly, we actively exchanged ideas on "good habits for a healthy lifestyle" and learned to care for our physical and mental well-being through activities.
Celebrating traditional festivals is also an important part of a healthy lifestyle, providing cultural enrichment and emotional Well-being. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, we have organised bilingual learning and celebration activity about the festival from the perspective of deepening understanding of Chinese traditional culture, guiding children to understand the origins, customs, and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival, allowing them to experience the traditional culture.
The school also arranged a hands-on mooncake making activity. Kneading the dough, wrapping the fillings, pressing the molds—each adorable mooncake carried joy and delight, allowing the children to experience the charm of traditional customs.
The National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays are approaching. We hope students sharing their learning achievements with parents and other family members, may the full moon bring unity and joy to all!
