Me in the Mirror - A Tiny Journey of Self

This semester's theme, "Who We Are," began with self-discovery through playful activities, helping children recognise their unique growth.

By observing themselves in mirrors and drawing their own reflections, children identified facial features and developed self-awareness.

The "Guess Who?" game sharpened observation skills as children identified unique features among peers.

Photo puzzles reinforced their understanding of facial composition.

Exploring hair through styling, wigs, and pasta-art sparked creativity, while, through sensory play, we also practised self-care habits.

A messy play tooth brushing activity and water-blow art further enriched the children’s learning through sensory creativity.

They also enjoyed creating self-portraits using paint-blowing.

This journey of self-discovery, starting with exploring their own faces, lays a foundation for understanding their own growth.
