Art never exists in isolation. In exploring artistic movements, students travelled through time, dialoguing with Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, and other classic schools, understanding how artists from different eras responded to society and expressed ideas. This journey through art history made them realise that every artistic innovation stems from reflection upon and breakthrough of a tradition.
The creation of self-portraits marked a profound self-examination. Students integrated compositional principles, colour theory, and artistic movements they had learned, presenting their inner worlds from unique perspectives. Each self-portrait represents a fusion of technique and emotion, a dialogue between rationality and sensibility, and a milestone declaration of their artistic exploration journey.
