We are very pleased with the significant improvements that the Grade 3 students have made in their collaborative learning skills. This development enhances their critical thinking abilities and promotes a deeper understanding and creativity through shared problem-solving, discussion, and peer learning.

In our recent Units of Inquiry (UOI), students have been focusing on their collaborative learning skills during lessons on Needs and Wants. They had an exciting time in this week’s UOI lessons, where they undertook a scavenger hunt throughout the primary school area. To win the scavenger hunt, the children had to work together in their teams to find items related to needs, such as water, clothing, air, food, and shelter.

Throughout the UOI lessons, the children have engaged in more group work activities, which they have embraced wonderfully and have risen to the challenge. This has demonstrated their excellent character and the maturity they are developing as learners.

We are immensely proud of their teamwork and efforts and look forward to celebrating more of their hard work
