PS|Hands-On Science: Where Play Meets Discovery

In our science explorations, we follow the approach of "learning by doing and exploring through play," guiding children to experience the wonders of nature firsthand.

Through the "blooming water lily" experiment, students observed how water supports objects on its surface and watched paper flowers unfold on water, discovering how water moves and behaves. Outdoor plant observations allowed them to track the growth journey from tiny sprouts to fully grown leaves, feeling how life interacts with its environment. By making mini hot air balloons rise, they explored how warm air moves upward, while spinning globes helped them visualize Earth's round shape and rotation.

Observing cloud shapes taught them about weather changes, and tracing smoke movements revealed how wind flows, making invisible air feel tangible. Simulating the journey of food through the body turned abstract digestion into a hands-on adventure, while simple pendulum experiments demonstrated how timekeeping connects to gravity and steady swinging motions.

These activities bring science out of textbooks and into real life—it transforms from distant concepts into something they can touch and see. Through playful experiments, children build logical thinking and nurture curiosity, turning hands-on learning into fertile soil for growing minds.
