As we begin the new semester, our campus is filled with energy and positivity. Over the past week, we have witnessed the thoughtful care of our teachers, the kindness of our students, and many heartwarming moments as our new members gradually settle into our community.

👥 New Students: From Newcomers to Belonging

This semester, we are delighted to welcome many new students to our Middle School. Our Buddy Programme has played a valuable role in supporting their transition. Buddies have warmly shown new students around the campus, helped them learn how to use our learning apps, and guided them during their early days with us.

The Pastoral Care team also held a special Lantern Festival Tea Party for our new students. In a relaxed and friendly setting, we discussed topics including making friends, academic adjustment, curriculum transition, and boarding life challenges. We clarified the support systems available on campus and helped new students understand where to find help, feel secure, and build a strong sense of belonging — so they truly experience FCG as a happy place to learn, live and grow.

🏆 Magenta Pass: New Students Shine Bright

During this week’s Magenta Pass Assembly, several new students were already recognized and celebrated. Whether through active participation in class or thoughtful acts of kindness, they have earned genuine praise from teachers and peers. We want to commend all returning students who supported others, and all new students who bravely engaged and tried their best. Growth is never instant, but every step deserves to be seen and encouraged.
