Plant Exploration in EY4
This semester, our young explorers embarked on an inquiry into the natural world. They investigated seeds and sprouting—asking questions, recording observations, and caring for their plants each day.
Through hands-on activities, children built vocabulary for roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Storytime and group discussions encouraged them to share ideas, while simple experiments invited them to predict, test, and think like scientists.
The inquiry extended across subjects. Children explored how plants “breathe,” examined different seeds, and counted sprouting days through maths—creating strong connections between science, literacy, and numeracy.
With curiosity blooming, we look forward to watching our learners grow.
