Recently, in the labour education classes of Grades 6, 7 and 8, a labour practice activity with the theme of planting has become more and more popular among students. In the labour education classroom, students learn about agricultural work and plant growth, and participate in planting activities with their own hands, linking theory to practice and greatly improving their labour awareness and skills.

At the beginning of the course, students watched a documentary on planting and witnessed the process of a seed gradually growing into a plant, which made them understand the hard work of farmers and the importance of agricultural labour and thus appreciate the source of food more.

In addition, by participating in actual planting activities, such as loosening soil, spreading seeds, watering, weeding and fertilizing, students gradually mastered basic planting skills, learning how to provide plants with proper soil, water and sunlight, as well as how to weed and control pests and diseases in a timely manner. These skills cultivated the students' hands-on ability and sense of responsibility, made them understand that for plants to grow healthily, they need careful care and patience. They also learned to appreciate that planting requires not only individual effort but also teamwork.

All in all, the purpose of the labour education class is so that everyone learns to appreciate the beauty of labour, to understand the culture of labour, and to deeply appreciate the perfection and experience of labour on the personality. Through the recent labour education class, students not only learned about agricultural labour and plant growth but also cultivated their hands-on ability, sense of responsibility and sense of teamwork. These knowledge and skill sets will stay with them and guide them to become responsible, hardworking and pragmatic people in the future, contributing to the development of society.
