Explore Your Future Options at FCG

College Fair @April 13th

FCG UGO Office, in collaboration with internationally renowned universities from the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and France, will be hosting an International College Fair on Saturday, April 13th. This event aims to provide valuable opportunities for FCG students and parents to engage in face-to-face consultations and discussions with university admissions officers. Attendees will have the rare chance to seek invaluable advice regarding their university plans, explore various pathways for higher education, gain inspiration for their planning, and prepare for their future university endeavours.

FCG College Fair 2024 will feature one-on-one consultations with admissions officers, panel discussions with admissions officers, an art workshop by the representatives from the University of the Arts London, and a mock interview event, among other activities. We welcome and encourage all students, especially senior school students, to take full advantage of this rare opportunity to stay updated on the relevant information, think beyond study into the future and explore more possibilities.

Training Session for University

Application in the U.S.

On March 20th, Ms Cheryl Xuan from the Country Garden Academic Success and University Counselling Centre was invited to visit Fettes Collgege Guangzhou and deliver a training seminar specifically for students in grades ten and eleven who are interested in applying to universities in the United States. The seminar focused on how to create an impressive Activity List for college applications.

The application process in the United States can be complicated, and demanding, and requires a wide range of writing tasks. Ms Cheryl provided students with a detailed analysis of the application requirements and used real-life examples to explain how to craft application materials that would gain the favourable consideration of admissions officers. Additionally, she offered on-the-spot evaluations and constructive feedback on students' current application profiles, encouraging them to reflect and improve upon their work. After the training session, many students remained in the classroom, actively seeking advice from the teacher.

At FCG, we strive for excellence in university acceptance while also encouraging diversity. Therefore, we provide students with training and specialised guidance for college admissions and programme selection from various countries and regions, helping them plan their academic journeys and pursue their dream schools.

Perseverance is Victory: Making the

Final Push in the Application Season

Our first batch of graduating students has achieved record-breaking success, receiving offers from both Oxford and Cambridge, as well as a total of 22 offers from globally renowned universities. The students have been admitted to a wide range of majors, including STEM disciplines, business, art and design, and music performance, which is a great success of FCG's diverse education.

Currently in the latter half of the application season, G12 students, under the guidance of teachers, continue to review their experiences, attend university interviews, and work to meet their offer conditions. For example, on March 10th, one of our G12 students took online exams and interviews for the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Berklee College of Music. Another G12 student participated in an online interview at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has received an interview invitation from the prestigious London Art University, which will take place on April 12th. The application season is a marathon, and we continue to cheer for them.
