PS|The Journey of Exploring Mathematics Education

It has been over a month since school started again, and the students' learning status is gradually improving. In our daily mathematics teaching, we conduct group teaching activities based on the different mastery and acceptance levels of the students. This tailored teaching method allows each student to improve at their own learning pace. At the same time, we also integrate English vocabulary and language into the mathematics classroom, enabling children to enhance their English language skills while learning mathematics, thus achieving interdisciplinary integration.



In the fifth-grade class, students actively participate in discussions, demonstrating a strong interest and eagerness for new knowledge. They deepen their understanding of concepts such as odd and even numbers through hands-on manipulation of Numicon teaching aids, and they also explore and master the basic characteristics of rectangular prisms and cubes using Magnetic building blocks. Through observation and reflection, children can accurately identify and describe the shapes and properties of these geometric figures. This inquiry-based learning approach not only stimulates children's curiosity but also enhances their spatial imagination and logical reasoning ability.



It is worth mentioning that students can also use a mind map to build their own knowledge networks. It helps students more efficiently and clearly organise the knowledge they have learned, inspires their thinking and provides them with mathematical inspiration, whilst also cultivating logical thinking abilities and stimulating learning motivation.
