In the Year 9 Biology class, we explore in depth the close connection between humans and ecosystems. Focusing on the core topic of ‘human impact on ecosystems’, the course revealed the causes and far-reaching effects of environmental problems such as forest degradation and global warming. The students actively interacted with each other in class, and at the end of the lesson, they drew mind maps to consolidate and organise their knowledge. This is not only an exploration of biological knowledge, but also an exercise in scientific thinking and the cultivation of study habits. We hope that you can continue to maintain this learning attitude and continuously improve your scientific literacy.
In Biology in Years 10 and 11, we are focusing on the development and implementation of exam preparation strategies. This week, we conducted a comprehensive compilation of knowledge points for the key chapters and tested the learning outcomes through mock tests. After the mock exams, we carefully assessed the papers and sorted out the wrong questions to ensure that each knowledge point was firmly grasped. Mutual assessment among students also became a valuable learning opportunity, allowing them to learn from each other's strengths and make up for their weaknesses, and to recognise their weak points more clearly. Through this week of intensive preparation, students laid a solid foundation for the upcoming exam.
We look forward to students' continued progress on the path of biology learning, deepening their understanding, expanding their horizons, and realising a two-way leap in knowledge accumulation and ability enhancement!
