We are thrilled to share the incredible progress our Grade 4 students have made this semester! Socially, they have shown significant growth, maturing into thoughtful individuals and forming lasting friendships. Their hard work and enthusiasm are evident, as they have made great strides across all areas.
In our recent Units of Inquiry (UOI), students thoroughly enjoyed exploring "How We Express Ourselves," where they discovered the powerful influence of music, dance, and art on emotions and creativity. Our current unit, "How We Organise Ourselves", focuses on the exciting world of trade.
Students will learn that trade occurs in the marketplace to meet people’s needs. They will delve into how supply and demand affect the marketplace, explore business as a dynamic process, and understand their responsibilities as producers and consumers.
To conclude this unit, we will host an exciting student-led fair where students can sell products they have developed, produced, and planned. All the profits will go to a local charity, promoting philanthropy and compassion in our classroom. This hands-on experience will reinforce key concepts of function, connection, and responsibility.
We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to celebrating their creativity and hard work!
