This semester, our school has carried out a series of fun and educational psychological activities under the theme of "Caring for Ourselves and Embracing Growth".

I. Kendama Challenge: Releasing Stress through Competition

As a psychological development project introduced to the campus for the first time, the kendama competition attracted students from all grades with its unique combination of stillness and movement. Originating in Japan, this traditional sport requires players to manipulate a small ball with a stick to complete catching actions, testing both concentration and physical-mental coordination.

The kendama competition was held in the school cafeteria. On the day of the event, long queues formed in front of the competition booth, and students from different grades eagerly signed up. Everyone was fully focused during the competition, and the cheers on site rose one after another. After the event, many students managed to complete the catching action within one minute and received exquisite small prizes. They said that the kendama competition was a great way to relieve stress and have fun, and they hoped that such events would be held frequently in the future.

II. Sex Education Class for Middle School Students: Stepping into Adolescence

Adolescence is a crucial stage of rapid physical and mental development. To help middle school students scientifically understand themselves and establish healthy concepts, the school has specially launched a series of classes titled "Stepping into Adolescence and Understanding Sex Education", providing support for their growth with a professional and open attitude. The courses are designed with a "theme-by-theme and interactive" approach, covering three major aspects: physiological changes, gender equality, and self-protection. Through animated demonstrations, role-plays, and group discussions, students were able to clear up their doubts in a relaxed atmosphere: How should boys deal with the embarrassment during the voice-changing period? How should girls view their first menstruation correctly? How to say "no" when faced with inappropriate touching? The class also set up an "anonymous question box", where psychological teachers answered sensitive questions, eliminated students' sense of shame, and encouraged open communication.

In addition to the above activities, our school has also established a "student-teacher-family" three-dimensional support system through psychological mailboxes, psychological counseling, and psychological lectures for parents. A child's growth is a two-way journey. Let's continue to work hand in hand, infuse them with psychological energy through understanding and companionship, and jointly embrace the challenges and beauty of adolescence.
