Senior school students are introduced to personality and career testing and to finish it next week to inspire thinking about the future (starting from grade 9)

Starting this Friday, the UGO office has introduced the senior school students a personality and career testing tool and to complete it in the following week. Students were instructed how to answer all the questions, and it will generate a full report (in English), including personality analysis, career matching, occupational income data, etc.

本周五开始，升学指导办公室的老师在升学规划课堂上，给高中部的同学介绍一项专业的职业测评工具，并在下周组织学生们完成答题。随后，系统将会生成一份完整的英文报告，报告包括：性格分析、职业匹配、职业收入数据等。

With the report, students and parents will be invited to discuss the report and next steps in the next UGO or parent meetings.

School gradually opens accounts for students at professional university research & planning platform  

为高中同学开设升学指导系统账号

From this semester, the school has adopted the new "Fetters University Planning Platform"/”BestieU System”, and we are currently creating accounts for senior school students. The system is bilingual in Chinese and English, and students with varies English level can all get started quickly and clearly. Also, the system can integrate multiple  university application platforms such as the United Kingdom, the Common Application, some of university application portal in Hong Kong and Australia. In addition, it supports different users (with different permissions) including UGO, school heads, teachers and parents to access, track and manage the work, which greatly improve the efficiency of university-related work and consulting.

新学期开始，学校采用全新的“广州斐特思智能升学系统”，目前正在创设学生账号过程中。这个系统支持中英双语搜索显示，不同阶段的同学也都可以简单上手操作；并且系统化繁为简，可以融合英美港澳等多国申请平台，实现统一管理；并且支持升学老师、学部校长、学生、家长不同权限的参与跟踪，可以大大提升升学规划工作的效率。

Grade 12 students working hard on their university application

The 2024 application season has already begun, and our Grade 12 1 students are working really hard on their university application work in an orderly manner under the guidance of subject teachers and UGOs. The first batch of applications from UK universities in October have been submitted; and we are preparing for the upcoming work for universities in Hong Kong, the United States, and Australia. Subject teachers have ongoingly provided cademic guidance to these graduates, as well as professional and personalised recommendation letters to support their applications. And UGO follows up and overlook the whole progress and materials throughout the entire process to ensure best results. Let’s root for our G12 students and wish them good luck!  It is also reminded that during the admission season, with heavy workload and pressure, we call on parents to provide more encouragement and support to them. Together we can best support them to chase their dream and academic pursuit.
