Grade Four is happy to announce the success of our Young Entrepreneurs Day which we held on December 22nd, 2023. The Young Entrepreneur Day was a culmination of our Unit of Inquiry unit called, ‘how we organise ourselves’. All our students were highly engaged learners who actively participated in a variety of Inquiry activities demonstrating a keen interest in exploring the realm of market trading. Through activities such as auctions, simulated buying and selling, and visits to a bank, our students gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience.

A critical component of this unit was our student surveys to understand our classmates' needs and wants. The student surveys allowed our students to do market research to help them pick the best products to sell on Young Entrepreneur Day. On the day our students showcased their excellent communication skills by successfully selling their products.

We appreciate their dedicated and meticulous approach to learning and encourage each of our students to continue with this positive attitude. Our Grade Four students were very successful, in total they made more than 2000RMB in profit. The remaining amount will be donated to a charity yet to be decided. The Grade Four students have shown great dedication, understanding, perseverance, attention to detail, and have been effective communicators during this unit. As result our students have excelled academically as well as civically. We look forward to the continued success of Grade Four this academic year and for years yet to come.
