In an Economics class, to understand complex cost curves, students were organised into different "ice cream" factories. They had to make decisions on how to effectively deploy production factors such as the number of scissors, raw materials, factory size, and number of workers. During the process, the manager learned to use the division of labour to improve productivity. After production, they needed to record and calculate fixed costs, variable costs, total costs, and unit costs etc. Finally, by comparing the results of each group, they collectively discussed methods to optimise production, while also fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.
