Grade 9 Business Studies

Students in Grade 9 have been exploring the marketing segment of the IGCSE Business Studies curriculum. Their journey began with conducting market-oriented research on a product they created. Each student was required to design a survey and collect 20 responses from peers and teachers about their innovative, "crazy and wild" product. Although the product was already conceptualised, the exercise provided practical insights into product development stages, the first of the 4 Ps of marketing. To deepen their academic understanding of these stages, students collaborated extensively, starting from generating ideas to selecting the best ones for further development and market research. The accompanying photo captures these budding entrepreneurs actively engaged in trying to sell their products at the highest price.

Grade 10 Business Studies

The Grade 10 class, a notably swift group, has impressively completed the entire IGCSE Business Studies course in just eight months. Currently, they are diligently honing their exam techniques, aiming for optimal performance in their upcoming tests. Having just concluded their midterm internal exams, the results look promising, and they are well on track to surpass expectations. Their dedication is likely to yield excellent outcomes.

Grade 12 Business Studies

Grade 12 students are intently preparing for their impending exams, a crucial time that demands exceptional writing skills in Business Studies. The exam format, which includes questions worth up to 20 marks, will require students to write thousands of words, not only during the exams but also in practice sessions in class.  We eagerly anticipate their exam results, confident that their hard work will translate into outstanding grades.

University Fair and New Course Introduction

Recently, many students had the opportunity to attend a university fair, sparking considerable interest in their future academic and career paths. Recognising both the excitement and pressure of such decisions, we aim to support our students in making the most informed choices possible. Reflecting the growing interest in business studies, we are excited to announce that starting next academic year, we will offer the BTEC Business course for Grades 9, 10, and 11. This course is designed to provide a more practical approach to business education, focusing on real-life practices and vocational skills. Students will benefit from hands-on learning experiences, flexible assessments, and a curriculum tailored to individual needs, preparing them for future careers in the business world.
