With the end of this semester's IGCSE exams, our pace of learning has not stopped, but we have become more determined to move towards the path of exploration of A-level courses. After an orderly and fulfilling week, our Year 10 Mathematics programmer has successfully transitioned from IGCSE 0580 to Pure 1, and the students have shown a high level of enthusiasm and initiative.
In Pure 1, we have completed the first unit. This module covers the application of factorisation, perfect sum of squares to solve one-dimensional quadratic equations, systems of simultaneous equations, and commutation of complex higher-order equations. Through continuous practice and discussion, students gradually adapted to the depth and breadth of the A-level mathematics course.
In the learning process, students actively use the idea of combining numbers and shapes, and intuitively realise that the solution of the equation is the intersection coordinate of the image and the x-axis by carefully drawing the image. This profound understanding not only deepened the students' understanding of quadratic functions and quadratic equations, but also stimulated their strong interest in continuing to explore the mysteries of mathematics.
In the following studies, we will continue to maintain a high enthusiasm for learning and continue to explore the world of mathematics in Pure 1. We believe that through continuous efforts and accumulation, we will be able to lay a solid foundation for A-level learning and achieve better results. The following is a learning mind map made by the students.

When the Pure 1 course opened, the enthusiasm and enterprising spirit of the students were already on paper. Let us join hands to set sail on the vast ocean of mathematics again and climb new heights together in the journey of exploring the mysteries of mathematics.
