The end of the school year is almost here, and it's time to celebrate the incredible journey our EY4 Eagles have had in EY and prepare them for their next adventure in Grade 1.

In our final unit, "How We Express Ourselves," the EY4 Eagles have been exploring different special days and learning how people celebrate them. From birthdays to cultural holidays, they have embraced the diversity of celebrations around the world. The unit has encouraged them to express themselves through various art forms, music, and storytelling.

The eagles have been eagerly preparing for their moving up ceremony, a special event to commemorate their growth and achievements during their time in EY.

They have been working diligently on performances, speeches, and artwork that showcase their unique talents and personalities. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and enthusiasm!

As part of their exploration of special days, the Eagles explored Ice Cream Day and Art Day, where they combined science, creativity, and delicious treats. In their exploration of Art Day, the EY4 Eagles took their creativity to new heights by creating paint from fruits and vegetables. They discovered the natural pigments found in everyday produce and explored the artistry of colour mixing.

In their cooking class, they dove into the rich flavours and traditions of Italian cuisine, creating the classic and beloved dish of spaghetti and meatballs.

The EY4 Eagles have soared to new heights, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a thirst for knowledge throughout the year. They have embraced challenges, celebrated successes, and formed lasting friendships that have enriched their educational experience. We are immensely proud of each one of them.
