As we step into this abundant season, we warmly welcome the start of a new school year.
After a refreshing holiday, our early years has welcomed many new friends. Thanks to the thoughtful planning and preparation of our teachers, everything is running smoothly.
The children in the Bee Class are gradually adjusting to being apart from their families, forming bonds of trust with their teachers and adapting to the daily routine of early years life.
In the Owl Class, the children are showing increased independence. Whether it’s morning check-ins, lining up, or organising their belongings, they handle everything with confidence. Guided by their teachers, they joyfully explore the new elements in the classroom and collaboratively establish their class agreements.
The children in the Deer Class have smoothly transitioned into their roles as ‘middle schoolers’, beginning to reflect on the question, “What is a friend?” and discussing how to build friendships with their peers. This has set the stage for their upcoming inquiry themes.
Meanwhile, the Whale Class students have stepped up as the older siblings of the early years, starting to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership within our learning community.
The new school year has begun, and we are excited to see the children embark on this journey filled with joy and growth, discovering many beautiful surprises along the way.
