At Fettes Early Years, there is a meticulously designed professional swimming pool that provides children with the opportunity to have intimate contact with water every week.

In the first week of school, the children in the intermediate and senior classes couldn't wait to start their swimming lessons. Under the careful guidance of experienced coaches, the children bravely submerged themselves in water, attempting actions such as diving and kicking their legs. Some children bravely challenged themselves to float independently on the water, their sense of achievement and joy overflowing.

As for the children in EY1&2, they also showed extraordinary courage. With the company of teachers and peers, they stepped into the pool full of curiosity, embarking on their own aquatic adventures. Using colourful foam noodles to try to maintain balance on the water's surface, they eventually bravely attempted to float independently, enjoying the fun of the aquatic world.

The swimming lessons not only taught the children the basic skills of swimming, but more importantly, they sparked a love for swimming in the children, cultivating their courage, confidence, and spirit of teamwork. The children unanimously expressed their fondness for the swimming lessons, considering it an indispensable learning opportunity on their path of growth.
