“A positive school community is one in which children and young people feel included, respected, safe and secure, and is a place where students feel their achievements and contributions are valued and celebrated”.

FCG has always placed great importance on creating a positive community, and has implemented a number of policies to achieve this goal.

With the school motto of ‘Industria’ and the bee in the centre of the school logo as a symbol, the MS Pastoral Care team has introduced the concept of ‘house points to make honey’ into our students' positive behaviuoral education, encouraging them to accumulate and quantify good behaviors and to carry forward the spirit of “not minding small things”, “being diligent in picking” and “being good at recognition”.

MS students are busy as hard-working bees every day, in every lesson and in every classroom and they forward to gaining points from teachers for good behaviour and learning performance thusreaping the benefits of daily progress! The weekly green card for ‘hardworking bees’ has become an eagerly awaited award, not only because of the privileges it represents, but also because of the honour of ‘exemplary behaviour’. At school assemblies, students are awarded the Bee Medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Amber, Emerald and Diamond, and experience a sense of achievement, accomplishment and value for the positive behaviour points they accumulate daily. The ‘House Points for Prizes’ every term is even more exciting for students, as it is a success that they have accumulated themselves. We motivate our students to continue to develop positive behaviour and character qualities such as good cooperation, diligence, self-discipline, goodness, and creating a respectful, orderly, tolerant and empathetic environment in which they can learn, live and grow in FCG's community
