IELTS Listening

This semester's IELTS listening curriculum adopts a dual-track approach, combining  question-type strategies and thematic scenarios, progressively structured from Part 1 to Part 4: Foundation Level focuses on daily-life dialogues through gap-fill and map-labeling exercises, enhancing information capture and spelling accuracy. Advanced Level has targetted academic contexts, mastering multiple-choice, matching, and flowchart questions. This emphasises synonym recognition, signal-word tracking, and distraction resistance, supplemented by intensive practice with high-frequency topics to systematically improve note-taking efficiency and logical deduction.

IELTS Reading

Using theme-based instruction and advanced drills, this semester we have built vocabulary and core question strategies (gap-fill/multiple-choice), then targetted high-stakes question types through remedial teaching. The end-to-end approach—from contextual learning to tactical mastery—ensures full readiness for all IELTS reading tasks.


IELTS Writing

The IELTS Writing Curriculum differs from class to class. For EAL classes, we prioritise mastering writing frameworks through a standardised process: Question Analysis - Decoding prompts, Outline Development - Structured brainstorming and Paragraph Architecture - Cohesive argument building. Students in the classes focus on data trend narration and thesis defense mechanics. On the other hand, ESL classes employ band-descriptor-aligned training on TR/CC/LR/GRA dimension drills, examiner sample deconstruction and diagnostic grammar clinics by using Academic Word List (AWL) tiered vocabulary and complex sentence patterning as well as Chinglish error eradication. In addition, we have personalized feedback per assignment and monthly mock exams to track progress.

IELTS speaking

IELTS speaking mainly focuses on pronunciation correction, especially for difficult phonemes like /θ/, the accumulation of idiomatic expressions, and the training of grammatical accuracy. It systematically trains the response frameworks for daily conversations, long monologues, and in-depth discussions. Moreover, with the help of linear narrative logic, it assists students in expanding their answers. Finally, by rotating high-frequency topics (more than 50 real question banks), we improve students' immediate response ability in real situations.
