This semester, our middle schoolers have taken giant leaps in coding, design, and problem-solving! Armed with stronger skills and a deeper understanding of tech challenges, they’re tackling tasks with impressive efficiency and creativity. Here’s a sneak peek at their amazing progress:
G6 Minecraft Coders Extraordinaire
Our sixth graders have ventured into the pixelated world of Minecraft for Education, where they’re coding their way to success! From controlling characters and tweaking variables to crafting obstacles and enhancing maps, their creativity knows no bounds. The virtual landscapes they’ve built are simply stunning.
Seventh graders have turned into app developers, designing and coding in a virtual IDE. They’ve mastered adding buttons, text, images, and navigation features to create apps that are both functional and visually appealing. Their knack for innovation is truly inspiring!
Eighth graders dove into the world of Python programming starting with controlling a virtual Turtle and advancing to loops and conditionals for more complex tasks. Their problem-solving skills shine and many are gearing up to explore computer science in Grade 9 IGCSE. Tech brilliance is alive and thriving in our middle school!
