EY celebrated Harvest Day together with songs, games and some cooking! We started the day with a big group activity, a competition between classes! EY1 and EY2 worked hard to collect corn that was hidden around the playground.

Meanwhile, EY3 and EY4 used their fine motor skills to take each piece of corn off the cob.

Next, EY1 and EY2 worked together to prepare some vegetables for the special Harvest Day snacks. We visited the small kitchen where we each had an opportunity to help wash the root vegetables!

Later on EY3 and EY4 worked with the kitchen staff to turn these vegetables into some special afternoon treats.

EY1 loved exploring the Autumn Fun Fair. We were able to explore a range of sensory activities and games in an outdoor environment.

We enjoyed some special snacks after lunch and in the afternoon tried the handmade steam buns we had helped prepare.

The day finished with a whole group performance. Parents were invited to enjoy some Autumn songs, special snacks and explore our Harvest themed art installation.
