PS| March Character Education Quality Review - "Humility"

During the character education in March, homeroom tutors focused on the theme of "Humility" during tutor sessions, guiding students to deeply understand and practise the four core objectives: "I will admit when I am wrong," "I will listen more than I speak," "I will value others' opinions," and "I will accept feedback gracefully."

In the Turing-in Phase, students engaged in shared readings of stories such as The Humble Frog, Einstein's Mirror, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, sparking reflections on humility. During the Inquiry Phase, role-playing activities (e.g., "How to respond to unhappiness") and case studies (e.g., conflicts in group work) helped students recognise the importance of humility. The Action Phase included keeping a ‘Humility Journal’, writing ‘Thank-you letters’, and sharing personal growth experiences in the class ‘Courage Box’. Finally, in the Reflection Phase, students evaluated their progress through self-assessments and peer discussions.

After a month of learning, students demonstrated a more open-minded attitude in class discussions, teamwork, and daily interactions, showing improved ability to apologise sincerely, listen attentively, and accept diverse perspectives. Moving forward, we will continue reinforcing humility to help students become more inclusive and self-reflective individuals.
